First Thing's First: Analyze!
This has got to be familiar situation for a lot of people: the new series of a smartphone has just come out. We think to ourselves, “wow, the ad looks so promising!” Suddenly we see that our existing phone is lacking a lot of qualities that the new series posessess. Now we’re thinking that it might be the time to buy a new phone. But is that really necessary? Well, when this question comes up, the one thing we can do is to analyze whether or not we actually need a new phone. By analyzing, we can figure out whether getting a new phone is necessary, or if it is just a temporary desire.
In doing everything in life, it’s always important to analyze anything that you are about to do firsthand. Some may think of analyzing as being overly critical and overthinking a situation, which could result in complicating what may have been a simple matter and turning it into something bigger. To analyze something, is to examine and break something down methodically, carefully and in detail. Typically in order to arrive at a conclusion which answers the questions asked during the analyzing process. So, how does analyzing actually influence our daily lives?
Since life is filled with a series of decisions to make, by analyzing something you will be able to find out if a decision that you are about to make is the right one. Especially when making crucial decisions. It would require thorough examination, especially if what you are after is a clear solution that will improve a situation.
For instance, there is an issue with a co-worker’s low motivation at the office. In order to find out the best way to solve the problem, one will need to take a step back and analyze the situation. In analyzing the situation, the first thing to do is to break down the problem, then you will see where all sides are coming from and what caused the problem in the first place. Is it due to lack of challenges at work? Or is there any needs for salary increases? By doing the analysis, you will be able to know which route to take in order to come to a decision and understanding which are best for the person as well as the company to moving forward.
When it comes to doing an analysis prior to a training, analyzing is the imperative first step before determining anything which will happen during the training process. There are multiple questions that trainers must identify in order to find out what needs to be fulfilled during the training process, and most importantly, find out the main objective of the training.
After the analysis stage has been done and learning objective has been stated, then comes the next steps such as designing and developing the correct method or resolution which would achieve the initial objective that was set at the start.
